We are looking for dedicated HCSW’s for various full and part-time positions across multiple inpatient wards in Medicine, Surgery, Diagnostics, and Specialties at both Cheltenham General and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Main duties of the job

While it is desirable that candidates have at least 6-12 months recent care experience and have completed the Care Certificate, previous care experience is not essential, and training can absolutely be provided for the right candidates, so if you have the qualities we're looking for and share our values, please do still get in touch!

You will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of the highest standard of quality care to our patients, working alongside registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your role will include a wide range of tasks, from providing personal care to undertaking clinical observations. You will be required to follow rigorous policies such as infection control and manual handling policies. In addition, you will be providing emotional and practical support to patient and their families.
