Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Registered Nurses to join the team on the Woolverstone Macmillan Centre. Full and Part time hours available. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic nurse led outpatient haemato-oncology service.
You will be an enthusiastic, innovative Registered Nurse where you will work in the busy, fast paced environment of a Chemotherapy Day Unit / Outreach clinics. You are required to have recent post registration experience and evidence of relevant post-registration study.
Experience in Oncology & Haematology is not required for this post but you must have a willingness to learn & develop new skills. Training will be provided in-house. There will also be the opportunity to complete the Guy’s Cancer Academy Systemic Anti-cancer Therapy (SACT) Online course.

This post will be worked within our unit working hours of Monday – Friday 08.00 – 18.00.
Main duties of the job
- Provide quality and individualised care to patients, relatives and carers through working as an effective member of the multi-professional team.
- Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care in the absence of direct supervision.
- Participate in the supervision and development of junior staff / learners within the outpatient environment.
