Job overview

We are looking for nurses due to qualify in September 2024 to work with us as part of our community rehab ward team, based in Halstead Hospital.

Main duties of the job

Support the Ward Manager by contributing to the provision, management and co-ordination of services on the ward to ensure that effective, sympathetic and individualised 24-hour patient care is maintained.  Participate in the development of nursing care.

       Assess, plan, provide, document and evaluate individualised and high quality care which

respects the patients’ privacy, dignity and religious and cultural beliefs.

 

       Maintain and develop knowledge, skills and competence to ensure patients individual needs are met in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, PREP and Trust Policies and Procedures.

       Maintain and provide accurate records, reports and information ensuring that patient and clinical confidentiality is maintained at all times.
