Main duties of the job
We have roles available in the following areas—please specify your preference:
Rowan: Our 33-bedded postnatal ward offers a supportive environment for families after birth. The team also runs BCG and NIPE clinics and provides a contraceptive service.
Antenatal Day Unit & Clinic: Planned care occurs here, while unscheduled care is provided in our triage department. We also run clinics for pre-term pregnancies, multiple pregnancies, and diabetes.
Maple: A 16-bedded antenatal inpatient ward that includes elective caesarean section services and outpatient induction of labour. Our dedicated team focuses on high-risk antenatal care.
Community: Serving Hull and East Riding, our community team supports families throughout their maternity journey, delivering patient-centred care.
Labour Ward: Our 11-bedded labour ward provides exceptional high-risk intrapartum care. It features a birthing pool for low-risk pain relief and a bereavement suite offering a calm environment for families during difficult times.
Midwifery Led Unit: Established in 2017, this unit offers three individual rooms for low-risk births, providing holistic, personalised care in a home-from-home environment.
