Job overview
We are delighted to be able to offer opportunities for 2.8 registered learning disability nurses to join our home to contribute and enhance our present nursing team.This is a unique opportunity for any learning disability nurse to not only join a unique service in the trust portfolio but also to develop clinically their portfolio of skills.
Working alongside the registered manager, deputy managers, learning disability and adult nurses as well as supported by the multidisciplinary team to enhance the lives of people with a profound and multiple learning disabilities and associated complex health care needs.
Main duties of the job
As part of the clinical team the hours are 07:00 to 19;30 with nights being 19:00 to 07:30 and there is an expectation that you be able and available to work both shift patterns including unsocial hours to have an overview of residents clinical needs both during the day and night.
We will consider flexible working arrangements to support yourself and the home.
Thee is a wealth of training to support you in delivering this high quality of clinical nursing care to enable residents to have a life well lived and loved considering the persons complex care needs.
