Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Community Mental Health Practitioner to join our highly motivated team. York and Selby Early intervention team provides first episode psychosis assessment, intervention and therapy for anyone experiencing this illness for the first time. We provide a service to anyone from the age of 14 up to 65.

We are a high preforming team delivering evidence based therapies and insertion recommended by NICE.

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside an experienced and committed multidisciplinary team delivering care coordination and psychosocial interventions to people aged 14-65 experiencing a first episode of psychosis. EIP teams typically have smaller caseloads than core mental health services enabling our care coordinators to work with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.

You will have access to individual and group clinical, caseload and management supervision and appraisal. We also offer bespoke psychologically informed consultations for complex patients and families.
