Job overview
The post holder will work as a senior member of the team providing support and advice alongside effective leadership to a specified clinical team. This will be achieved by ensuring the provision of high quality safe and effective care. In addition will provide direct clinical nursing care and will deputise in the absence of the Senior Sister/Matron
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join an innovative and dynamic directorate, to provide nursing leadership for the Emergency Assessment Unit.
The post holder will be a senior member of the team in the capacity of Clinical Co-ordinator and will provide support and advice alongside effective leadership to the Emergency Assessment Unit. This will be achieved by ensuring the provision of high quality safe and effective care. In addition, the post holder will provide direct clinical nursing care and will deputise in the absence of the Ward Matron

The role will provide a visible and responsive Clinical Co-ordinator with accountability for service delivery and advice. We are therefore seeking an innovative, inspirational nurse with a passion for patient centred care to deliver this. You will require the ability to operate at a senior level and to engage, lead, inspire and deliver is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity which will be an integral role in the Directorate, working in partnership with the Clinical Director, General Manager, Operational Manager, Senior Clinical Matron and Clinical Leads.
