Trosolwg o'r swydd

The University Hospital of Hartlepool achieved Elective surgical hub accreditation in December 2023 becoming the first hub in Tees Valley.  This is an exciting opportunity to join us in our journey as we further develop and expand and we are looking for enthusiastic experienced  orthopaedic scrub practitioners.

The hub specialises in high volume, low complexity, Getting it Right First Time criteria and discharge on the day of surgery.   These posts are integral to ensure further development of the hub to support the local community.  This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your career with 3 dedicated theatre clinical educators who will support you in your role with 1:1 training, development, immersive simulation, ongoing CPD and bespoke training packages both internally and externally.

The posts are ring fenced to the Hartlepool  Hospital site, working over a 6 day period with no night shift or on calls.   Career progression is encouraged and your personal development will be a priority to us.  If you are a scrub practitioner who is looking for a challenge and wanting to become part of a new NHS journey in perioperative care please contact us.
