Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and dynamic Dermatology teams at Poole .
The Dermatology departments provide a range of day care treatments including complex inflammatory management, phototherapy, iontophoresis and minor surgery. This is an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to continue to develop their expertise within this speciality at an exciting time as we work towards providing a joint Dermatology service across our UHD organisation.
This role requires a current UK NMC Registration
Base Location: Poole

Essential criteria
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to travel within geographical area as required by service/requirements of the post
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of the care of the Dermatology patient
- Knowledge of complex dermatology conditions
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of British association of Dermatology guidelines.
Technical Skills Competencies
Essential criteria
- Effective communication skills including verbal and written. Be able to speak English as necessary to undertake the role.
- IT literacy
- Teaching and presentation skills
- Project and change management skills
Desirable criteria
- Appraisal skills
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- RGN qualified for a minimum of two years
- Nursing Diploma or Degree
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship / Teaching qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrates experience within the relevant clinical area
- Evidence of being able to work/run clinics
- Evidence of being able to work independently.
Desirable criteria
- Two years minimum of working in Dermatology.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
