Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs for allergy patients using established guidelines and protocols, in collaboration with our allergy consultant and multiprofessional team.
- Evidence-Based Management: Apply research critically to manage allergies in child health, ensuring the best support and management for children and their families.
- Education & Training: Contribute to the specialist education and training of healthcare professionals.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in clinical supervision, self-reflection, audits, and quality initiatives to enhance care for children and their families.
- Service Development: Play a key role in developing clinical services within the children’s allergy team.

There is a planned move for this service anticipated, when this role and base of work will relocate to Bournemouth site. Upon relocation of the role/service, excess mileage allowance / reimbursement will not apply, and any travel between the postholder’s home and work base will be classified as a commute. Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions.
