Job overview
The post holder will participate in the achievement of the Ward’s objectives, through innovative and progressive approaches to patient care, be responsible for the adherence to Nursing Care Audit and Care Accreditation processes. Have a keen interest in Cardiology, be responsible for the development of clinical audit and research based activities and for the development of the ward as a learning environment.
Patient Care
- Supporting senior and less experienced staff in the provision of patient care.
- Assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of individual programmes of care.
- Exploring and promoting new ways of working to enhance patient care.

- Be willing to undertake ILS or ALS
Experience

- Experience of working in a care setting
- Experience and understanding of nursing processes i.e. assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation
