Main duties of the job
The Renal Unit strives for clinical excellence and strongly supports the progression of clinical skillsets to optimise patient outcomes. We are developing a strong link nurse network with the aim of creating local experts within the team who can cascade knowledge and information to improve standards.

- Post registration course in relevant speciality or working towards / willingness to undertake.
- Mentor qualification or working towards
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Post registration experience in the speciality.
- Understanding of the professional and current issues in nursing
- Accountability for own practice.
Desirable criteria
- Understanding of audit and research methodologies
- Previous management experience
- Knowledge and experience of acute patients.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
