Successful applicants will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at Carew House, Bodmin on 19th July 2024. This will be a morning or afternoon to be confirmed.

We are excited to offer opportunities for Health Care Assistants within our inpatient community hospital settings. 

CFT provides a range of physical and mental health services to children and adults across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and we are seeking individuals with a passion for care who will relish the opportunity to showcase their caring approach and desire to help support our patients through their treatment and recovery pathway.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and clinically capable healthcare assistants to join our teams, working in our Mental Health Inpatient Wards across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

We have posts in all areas across the County and offer flexible working hours so you can pick and choose your shifts as they become available.

  • To Support the delivery of care needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.
