You will use the skills and training you already have coupled with the skills and knowledge you will gain through the fantastic training opportunities on offer. Providing support and health promotion to families that attend is crucial and good communication skills with children, families and other members of the multi disciplinary team is essential.

The trust has guidelines and policies to follow that you will become familiar with to help support your clinical management of patients.

In addition, all this will be done in our brand new state of the art purpose built ED unit, where current staff have worked hard to fundraise to be able to purchase play and sensory equipment and art work to make the unit as child friendly and stress free as possible.

Main duties of the job

You will be able to respond to emergency situations and support people through their time in the Emergency Department. You will be able to communicate effectively with members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the needs of patients are met.
