Assistant/Associate Practitioner - Cambridge IVF Unit

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a caring and passionate Assitant Practitioner to join the nursing team in Cambridge IVF (CIVF). This satellite unit is based in Trumpington Cambridge and is part of the Women and Children’s division at Cambridge University Hospitals.
Your role will be to assist in the provision of kind, safe, excellent and efficient patient care under the supervision of a Matron in Cambridge IVF
This is a varied role and you will be required to work in a variety of areas supporting Service Users and Nurses.
If you are passionate about patient care and reproductive medicine we want to hear from you, this role is 5 days a week; you will be required to work some Saturdays and Bank Holidays.

To support Registered Practitioners deliver clinical care, monitoring and reporting on patient progress, whilst managing own workload and supporting other colleagues to ensure patients receive optimum care.
Manage NHS referrals. Delivering evidence-based clinical care to patients within pre-determined protocols.
Manage junior staff working on NHS referrals and supporting the coordination of senior clinical, scientific and administrative staff so that NHS activity meets quality standards and treatment is expedited.

- Other post-basic, health-related courses evidence of continuing professional development and its application
Experience

- A background in a reproductive medicine environment
- Evidence of continuing occupational CPD
