We are seeking a highly motivated individual to come and be part of our clinical education pre registration team.  This permanent position is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical support and educational direction across pre-registration nursing, midwifery and AHP practice education at CUH.

Working within with the Clinical Education Team you will be responsible for supporting  pre-registration education/placements for nursing, midwifery and AHPs and all aspects of pre-registration education governance across the Trust.  We are looking for someone who is able to work alongside committed teams to delivering the highest quality patient care in order to meet our strategic objectives. This job will include participating in clinical support in all areas of nursing, including child, adult and midwifery ward areas. As well as working with other teams across our portfolio.

To work across CUH Trust promoting high quality education and support both clinically and educationally

Plan, implement and evaluate Trust wide blended learning programs for learners to enable competent evidence based care.

Work collaboratively in the planning, delivery and evaluation of clinical skills, eLearning and training programmes to meet Trust priorities for newly appointed and existing staff.

Facilitate the development of learners ensuring they develop appropriate competence and skills and have a positive experience

Facilitate mandatory training programmes to meet statutory and mandatory requirements.

Undertake corporate project work and evaluations linked to development, education and training.

  • Degree or willingness to work towards
  • Recognised teaching and/or assessment qualification, i.e. PG CERT or willingness to work towards

  • Leadership training or qualification

Experience

  • Recent experience of working within an acute clinical environment and/or working with Post-registration learners in practice.
  • Experience of leading clinical teams
  • Experience in teaching within a classroom setting and in clinical areas.
  • Experience in undertaking clinical audit and evaluations
  • Evidence of implementing and improving patient care/experience
  • Multi-professional working across traditional boundaries
  • Project management
  • Facilitation of groups
  • Effective communication (verbal, presentation, written)
