Trosolwg o'r swydd

Maternity and neonatal services at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust are inextricably interdependent and together are undergoing transformational change in line with the ambitions set out in the Maternity Transformation Programme and the National Critical Care review (NCCR) to improve outcomes for women and babies using maternity and neonatal services, including actions to improve pre-conception, antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, all of which have an impact on neonatal outcomes.

Our vision is aligned with the national and Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) deliverables, and we are looking for an exceptional nurse to join the team to ensure our neonatal services become even safer, kinder, more personalised and family friendly.

Our aim is that every baby admitted to the Neonatal Unit will experience a healthy start to life by providing specialised care for newborns who are sick, premature, or have a low birth weight.

A key focus of this role will be the leadership, engagement, support, education and practice development of staff to deliver the new models of care.

The post holder is a key member of the Director of Midwifery office, working in partnership with the Transformation Midwife  under the line management of the Lead Midwife for Governance and Quality.
