Main duties of the job
Deliver an effective high quality Aural care nursing service to include the management of an identified caseload, exercise a degree of personal and professional autonomy
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management ,quality and delivery of the nurse led aural care service
The post holder will be responsible for working within the Multidisciplinary Team to empower them to provide excellent standards of patient centred care on an Aural care/ENT programme.
Reviewing and implementing improvements to ensure that all patients are supported on a seamless pathway:
To expedite and facilitate patient centred care for ENT patients under the aural care programme
Critically evaluate current practice using Care Quality Indicators as agreed with specific SDU leads and the Multi-Disciplinary team.

Essential criteria
- Working in ENT environment
- ENT surgical experience/Ward Experience
- Broad clinical experience relevant to the post, including specialist skills and experience in speciality
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of teaching/mentoring students or patients
- Experience of undertaking audit
Skills
Essential criteria
- Working in OPD setting up and running clinics
- Computer literate
- Ability to communicate with patients/relatives/MDT in spoken and written English
Desirable criteria
- demonstrate experience of audits
Education
Essential criteria
- MSPP
- Evidence of CPD/ post graduate modules
- Registered Nurse

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
