The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable. 

 

Job overview

The Lead Nurse is accountable for the quality of care delivered within the children and young people’s complex care packages by the staff team, whilst having 24 hour responsibility for the management of the care packages and line management of staff ensuring consistency with BCUHB and Area objectives and the delivery of Key performance indicators.  

 

Main duties of the job

The post holders will have management responsibility for organising and overseeing education, training and professional development for the technologically dependent service and its operational delivery within the three area teams.

 

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
