The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.

Are you looking for a new challenge and are passionate about the education and development of the workforce? An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and committed registrants to join our dynamic education team.
If you are an experienced registrant, who is passionate about training and education, conscientious and motivated and wants to make a difference to patient care though the development of our clinical workforce, this is the post for you. You will work as part of the corporate educational team and be involved in the development, implementation and management of education programmes across the health board, acting as a role model and providing advice and support relating to clinical skills development, post registration education and, preceptorship.

Main duties of the job
To develop, facilitate, deliver and evaluate a range of multi-professional programmes and teaching sessions to improve the quality of the patient experience health board wide, in accordance with a range of national objectives and organisational goals.
To be an role model within specific professional field, and to work with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new and essential skills and knowledge that will enable them to provide high quality care to our patients in line with the values of the Health Board.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of nursing related qualification to degree level
- Teaching/assessing qualification to Postgraduate Diploma Level (Level 6) or equivalent
- Current registration NMC/HCPC/GDC
Experience

- Broad clinical experience
- Demonstrates enthusiasm towards teaching and sharing knowledge
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Able to present relevant information in a concise form.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
