The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.

We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting and challenging opportunity to become part of our compassionate, dedicated and patient centred Senior Nursing team.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about leading the team to deliver safe, effective clinical care to patients thus making a positive difference to the patient’s experience. As Matron you will ensure that all services are delivered in line with agreed performance, financial and government objectives whilst ensuring the workforce are professionally led and managed in order to develop a highly motivated and empowered team.
Main duties of the job
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate strong operational management skills with a positive “can do” attitude, be a clinical expert and will possess an in-depth understanding of service functionality and improvement. They will be able to demonstrate an absolute passion for excellence in patient care, be an inspirational leader with high level of clinical credibility. Candidates will have a proven track record of change management and demonstrate excellent leadership skills to take the nursing teams forward. Applications are welcome from Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals with the relevant experience for the Matron post.
The ability to identify and work collaboratively with wide range of stakeholders is a must.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
