The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.

This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 6 months to meet the needs of the service.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and committed band 6 nurse to join Dosa/ Tudno Ward at Ysbyty Gwynedd.
The nursing team is proactive and innovative with a wealth of knowledge in this unique field of day elective surgery. They are also a very friendly and supportive team who demonstrate fantastic team work.
Main duties of the job
Staff will receive induction and support through staff meeting and personal development reviews.
In general, this is an exciting and fascinating ward opportunity for professional development and expertise in the field.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Essential criteria
- RGN with experience at band 5 level
- RGN with experience in surgical setting
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
- Evidence of leadership / change module
- Evidence of degree or working towards
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Has good clinical knowledge of acute setting
- Clear understanding of governance issues
Desirable criteria
- Extended skills such as phlebotomy and cannulation
- Evidence of carrying out audit
- Evidence of staff management - off duty / sickness and absence
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
