The post is only open to those with Paediatric qualifications.
To provide a high quality service of ongoing care, support and education to children and young people with allergy until they are transitioned to the adult service.
To meet a range of needs relating to allergy in everyday life and during the whole of childhood and adolescence.
Main duties of the job
To provide the service in a variety of settings, including multidisciplinary clinics and nurse led clinics,
To act as a resource to children, young people and their families and other healthcare professionals.
To provide specialist training and education on allergy to children, young people and their families and other healthcare professionals.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Completed and obtained RSCN/RN Child and has current live PIN on NMC register
- BSc in Nursing
- Teaching and assessing qualification
- Evidence of additional study in Allergy/ Dermatology
- Management course
- Assessment of the acutely ill child
- Supplementary prescribing course
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
