Job overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and aspiring midwife to progress in their career as a key member of the private caseload midwife team within the Imperial Private Healthcare division maternity services. This is a collaborative role, and you will be expected to support with the management of the inpatient ward services at Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital.

 

Who we are looking for?

An experienced midwife who is passionate about continuity of care to join our team on a fixed term basis maternity cover. You will work closely with a small team of midwives and Consultant Obstetricians to provide individualised maternity centred care for private patients.

Main duties of the job

Work collaboratively with other departments to manage patient care and ensure safety across maternity thus contributing to effective patient flow. · Promote and teach Bespoke1:1 antenatal class for patients on your caseload · Undertake management duties within the team and department as required and support junior staff. · Adhere to the NMC’s professional regulations and ensure that midwifery practice is within the regulatory framework. Flexible Working pattern: · You will work within a small caseload team. Hours and pattern of work will include a combination of Early, Long day, Night, and weekend shifts to ensure 24-hour service coverage for our private clients.
