The opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Nurse, who would like to play a major role in shaping the Temporary
Nursing Workforce currently working across both The Royal Shrewsbury and The Princess Royal Hospitals.
As an RN with a Degree or equivalent and proven clinical expertise and credibility, you will work closely with the Corporate Nursing Team, Heads
of Nursing and Senior Nurses to ensure that effective systems and process for the use of temporary (Bank) and Agency Registered Nurses and
nursing support staff are embedded into practice throughout the Trust.
With a proven track record and experience of leading and managing a clinical team, the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for
clinical quality and governance issues relating to the provision of temporary (Bank) and Agency Registered Nurses and nursing support staff
working via the Trust’s Temporary Staffing Department (TSD).
Main duties of the job
As Lead Nurse for Recruitment and Resourcing Governance, you will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Director of People Operations and
Senior Nursing Teams, within the Trust, to ensure governance and quality standards are met in relation to recruiting Registered Nurses and
Support Staff to the Nurse Bank, as well as the use of Bank and Agency nurses and support staff within the clinical areas.

Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant post registration experience
- Knowledge and understanding governance and quality issues involved in the use of Temporary staff.
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience of delivering change management both personally and as a facilitator
- Experience of working autonomously
Qualifications

- NMC registered
- Mentorship course
- Degree level education
Desirable criteria
- Teaching qualification
