Hopewood Hospital in Sherwood, Nottingham has 32 beds across 3 wards and is based on site with an education facility for our inpatients, a CAMHS community base with specialist teams and both inpatient and community perinatal teams

Hercules Ward has exciting opportunities for an experienced RMN or RNLD to join our teams. We have one full and one part time post available.

Main duties of the job

Hercules Ward is an 8 bedded psychiatric intensive care unit that works with young people experience severe and enduring mental health problems. We work closely with families and a full MDT to ensure positive outcomes for young people and we encourage staff to be fully involved in patients care and participate in both group and 1:1 work.

Our nurses have a key clinical role within a well established multidisciplinary team. You will need to demonstrate that you have experience of working with people with mental health problems and supporting carers /families in an acute environment. You should have a working knowledge of the management of safeguarding processes, have excellent communication and leadership skills & be willing to work across a 24 hour/7 day rota.

The hospital is supported by a senior nurse who remains on site 24 hours a day.
