Clinical Support Worker

Band 2

We have a vacancy for a Clinical Support Worker to work alongside our existing team of staff seeing safeguarding children of all ages and their families in the Nottingham Children’s Hospital based at the QMC.
The responsibilities include;
Welcoming the children and their families and other professionals such as the police and social care colleagues
Setting up/clearing away clinics and preparing the department for clinics
The post holder will work largely without direct supervision but is supported by a named Registered Nurse manager who is based within the Nottingham Children’s Hospital.
Chaperoning as required
Measuring and recording weight and height, carrying out Blood Pressure and Pulse recording Performing Urinalysis

Supporting the Paediatricians to run the sexual abuse and safeguarding clinics

This role is ideal for someone who has experience of working with children or within the health care environment and would like to develop new skills. A full induction Programme and training will be provided.
