Deputy Sister/ Deputy Charge Nurse

Band 6

We currently have a vacancy on Ward F19 for a full-time, enthusiastic and well motivated Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse on a busy acute female health care of the older person ward. We are a friendly and supportive team who aim to ensure high standards of care are delivered to all our patients whilst ensuring a cheerful and positive atmosphere.

Caring in nature, you must be able to work well under pressure on this busy area. You will possess good interpersonal, communication skills and IT skills would be an advantage. You will need to be committed to working within a team to deliver high quality care. The successful candidate will be committed to good communication with colleagues, patients, their relatives and external agencies and work within the Trust guidelines and policies to promote a safe environment for your patients.

You must be reliable and able to work flexibly, undertaking a full range of shifts including long day shifts (7am to 7:30pm), night duty, weekends and bank holidays.

The successful candidate must have a valid NMC registration, and fulfill all the essential criteria for this post.
