We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, highly motivated and caring senior nurse with significant experience in sexual health. We are looking for a person who can lead and manage a team of nurses and health care assistants.

As a senior nurse you will be expected to promote the delivery of a high standard of patient-centered care. Working alongside the lead nurse / service manager you will be responsible for operational management of the service. The role will need the senior nurse to be flexible in their working pattern to ensure all of our nine clinics are visited regularly.

You will work alongside a team of band 7 nurses (practice development nurse, HIV specialist nurse and nurse practitioner) and the sexual health senior management team to ensure the service meets its key performance indicators.

The Trust has a combined bed capacity of approximately 875 beds at Whiston and St Helens hospitals and provides a full range of acute in-patient, out-patient, day case and emergency services to the local communities of St Helens, Knowsley, Halton and Liverpool, extending to Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man with the Regional Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit.
