Qualified Nurse - Dermatology

Band 5

Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is a ground breaking Teaching Trust and is consistently rated as one of the best places to work in the NHS. The Trust is rated as Outstanding by the CQC and is one of the first integrated providers of hospital, community and primary care services, providing local services to the City of Salford and specialist services to Greater Manchester and beyond. The Trust is the leading Major Trauma Centre for Greater Manchester, the host of the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre, one of only two designated Intestinal Failure Units in the UK and one of the largest Dermatology Centres in Europe.
We are looking to appoint motivated and enthusiastic band 5 nurses to Ward M3 as we are expanding to 17 beds to provide care for Dermatology, Rheumatology and Medical patients and are increasing our substantive nursing establishment to reflect this.

The ward also has a Daily Dressing clinic and a Phototherapy unit offering outpatient services within its footprint.

We are proud of our SCAPE status and our philosophy is to deliver the highest quality evidence based patient centered care.

Applicants with previous medical experience are welcomed and you do not need to have any previous Dermatology experience as we are an established team and offer a positive approach towards your professional development. We have an induction package for all new staff and excellent support and training opportunities are available to develop new skills and enhance your career.

If you are newly qualified nurse, we will pay your the NMC registration fee for the first year and pay you at Band 4 until you receive you NMC PIN.

We can also offer a competitive relocation package (subject to conditions).

You will also have access to the following staff benefits:

• Car Lease Scheme
• Gymflex Scheme
• Discounted First Bus Tickets
• Mobile Phones – Salary Sacrifice
• Cycle to Work Scheme
• Nursery on Site / Child Care Vouchers

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, sexual preference, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership.
