Job overview

The department of paediatric allergy and immunology based at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital provides a tertiary allergy / immunology service for children with allergies and immune disorders across the north west.

The department maintains close links with colleagues within primary, secondary and community services.

An exciting opportunity has risen for an enthusiastic, adaptable band 5 or band 6 nurse to join our team who has in interest in paediatric immunology or allergy.

Main duties of the job

You will provide specialist expertise, advice and education within the hospital and community settings. Working closely with the multidisciplinary to deliver high standards of care and ensure effective communication with all professionals involved throughout the patients care journey.

 

Being able to work autonomously within the team you will have excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to supporting the advancement of the paediatric allergy and immunology service.
