We are a dedicated Children's Clinical Research Facility (MCCRF) situated within the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. We are one of the first five in an expanding network of facilities throughout the country. The facility offers both inpatient and outpatient services and is a key part in the plans to extend research services following the successful granting of NIHR Funding for Manchester.
This job is a unique opportunity to be involved in cutting edge research with children and young people of all ages.You will be involved in working with children, young people and their families at the MCCRF. You will provide a child-focused environment and support the family throughout the duration of their time as a research participant.
The Children’s CRF is a 10 bedded nurse led research facility. We provide a supportive, participant focused environment for research of the highest scientific excellence. We provide facilities for both commercial and academic research studies in a wide range of clinical specialities for children. The facility aims to attract internationally acclaimed research, to take a leading role in research nurse education and to be instrumental in the development of research.
Our facility is constantly developing and you will be able to contribute to the development of future services. We can provide a comprehensive induction programme and will ensure that all staff have tailored, individual personal development plans with support for further training. Opportunities for developing new clinical skills are available and actively encouraged.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
