Band 5

Are you caring, compassionate and committed to providing the best service possible for children and young people?

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to work as part of the School Nursing Team. The successful application will have an interest in working with children: a Nurse with enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering the best care possible and an understanding of the Healthy Child Programme. You will work as part of a dedicated team to organise, plan, deliver and evaluate the School Nursing service. You will need to be a car driver and will be required to drive around Milton Keynes.

The School Nursing team work closely with other services and key stakeholders such as the (but not exclusive to) Child Health Department, GPs, Public Health England and Commissioners.

In return for your commitment we will make sure you receive the support and development you need to prepare yourself for future challenges. We provide good supervision and a first class learning environment in all aspects of School Nursing. We also make it easy for you to access continuing professional development according to the needs of the Service. CNWL is recognised locally, nationally and internationally for providing high quality, innovative healthcare. We aim to employ only the best people and our experts are frequently called upon to contribute to national health strategy and policy and many models of care have been adapted for use in other countries.

Applicants must have a full driving license and use of a car.
