School Nurse (SCPHN)

Band 6

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and innovative practitioner to join the School Nursing Service. The practitioner must be a Registered Nurse with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification (School Nursing).

The School Nursing service comprises of skill mix teams that are structured to deliver core and targeted health input through the Healthy Child Programme to all school aged children and their families.
We offer excellent professional development opportunities along with formal clinical supervision and annual appraisal.

The applicant should demonstrate leadership skills, knowledge of safeguarding and child protection processes and offer flexibility in managing their caseload.

Applicants must have a full driving licence and use of a car.

Full and Part time hours considered; year round and term time only opportunities available. Please state in your application your preferred working pattern.
