The Medical Day Unit (MDU) is a self-contained unit that has been tailored to accommodate patients that require medical treatment/investigations on a day stay basis and who will then be discharged home or admitted to a ward.

• initial prophylactic treatment for Deep Vein Thrombosis and pulmonary embolism
• partial exchange blood transfusion
• methotrexate injection
• joint injection
• food and drug allergy challenge

We are looking for an enthusiastic band 5 Nurse with substantive experience to join our team in providing a high standard of care within an ever-changing and expanding environment.
