In 2015, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital became a single Foundation Trust. This has helped secure the future of both major acute hospitals and offers all of our (over 5,000) staff fantastic opportunities to develop their career, to innovate and develop even better services for patients.
We have made significant capital investments (around £10 million a year) in our hospitals over the past 10 years. A midwife-led maternity unit; a £24million children’s unit and a burns unit on the Chelsea site; new and refurbished A&Es; a cardiac catheter lab at West Middlesex and a new sexual health clinic at 10 Hammersmith Broadway will be followed in the next few years by a £25 million investment in critical care facilities at Chelsea and we intend to invest £7 million on our labour ward. Staff Nurse - Intensive Care, Band 5
The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Intensive Care Units comprises of a combination of level two, level three and Burns intensive care beds on the Chelsea and Westminster site
We care for a broad range of critically ill patients within primary nursing teams. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment were education is seen as a priority. We would like you to join our team to provide excellent, compassionate care to all our critically ill patients and their families.
We would like to recruit nurses with experience of working within an acute hospital setting. Don’t worry if you haven’t got previous intensive care experience, as all nurses new to ICU will join our Foundations of Critical Care Course, which will provide you will the necessary skills to get you established as an intensive care nurse.
You will also receive an exceptional induction and orientation programme.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
