C6 is a 24 bedded medical ward with a special interest in Gastroenterology. We are looking for a Deputy Ward Manager to join our team. The successful candicate will have at least two years post qualifing experience and hold or working towards a mentorship qualification.
The succesful applicant must be motivated, ethuastic and be able to work in a demanding environment.You must be able to delgate and be able to work alongside the band 7 in ensuring the ward maintains it's high standards.You must be able to lead by example and be proactive and have good problem solving skills.
In return you will be given full training and support to develop the knowledge and skills required to care for patients with a range of gastroenterology related conditions including ascities, decompensated liver disease, the detoxing patient, GI bleeds and many more
Band 6 experience is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be given.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
