Department - Ambulatory Surgical Unit Ward 9, Ophthalmology Suite, Eye Casualty and Clinic

Exciting job opportunities have arisen, to join our nursing teams within Surgical Specialities at the Leicester Royal Infirmary Site.

The Ambulatory Surgical Unit care for a wide varied case load of patients undergoing elective procedures for Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Maxillofacial, Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic surgery, requiring either a Day admission or overnight stay.

Ward 9 is an exciting fast paced ENT, MaxFax and Plastics its a 17 bedded unit with its own triage area. taking both elective and emergency patients daily.

The ophthalmology department sees a wide range of patients elective and emergency cases. Ophthalmology staff do move around the different area i.e the ophthalmic suite, eye casualty and clinics and this will give varied skills in the area.

You will join a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursing and Multi-specialty team, who strive to provide quality, compassionate patient focused care, within a safe and caring environment.

Successful candidates will need to be dynamic, hard working, enthusiastic and be adaptable to the changing and challenging needs of the Service. The delivery of standards, improved patient experience and the Trust's values and visions must be priority.
