Mae’r ward Gofal yr Henoed yn un deinamig, prysur 24 gwely. Mae’r tîm nyrsio’n rhagweithiol, arloesol a chanddynt gyfoeth o wybodaeth yn y maes arbenigol yma. Rôl y tîm yw sicrhau bod anghenion y cleifion yn cael eu hateb yn y ffordd y maent hwy fel unigolion ei angen, er enghraifft anghenion cleifion gyda Dementia.

Ward 1 Care of the elderly

The opportunity has arisen to join the team on ward one care of the elderly at Glan Clwyd hospital.

The ward is a 24 bedded, dynamic and fast paced Elderly ward. The nursing team are proactive, innovative and have a wealth of knowledge in this specialist area. The team’s role is to ensure that patients needs are cared for in the individualised way that they require, for example the needs of patients with Dementia.

All ward nursing staff are expected to keep up to date with new and initiatives and interventions Also staff will be given an induction programme and will receive support, and personal development reviews

Overall this is an exciting and interesting ward which will give the opportunity for professional development and specialist knowledge in this area.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
