First Steps Nursery is a workplace nursery for staff working for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The modern nursery provides full day care for children aged 4 months to 8 years. The successful candidate will need to hold a minimum NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years post qualification experience working in a setting with the under 5’s age group. This will include experience with under 2's and
experience of supervising staff.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, be an effective communicator and show flexibility in working hours so that we can continue to provide flexibility within our service.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
