Paediatric Critical Care

Band 6 Deputy Sister
9 shifts per 4 week rota. Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave
Internal rotation and weekends

Suitable for an experienced band 5 nurse

If you are interested in advancing your career in paediatric critical care you may wish to consider this post. Applicants should have Critical Care/ HDU/PICU experience at band 5/6 level, with a recognised HDU/PICU qualification.

As a teaching hospital, we see and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. You would assist in leading high quality nursing care to children and young people requiring ventilatory support for a range of acute medical or surgical conditions.

A Critical Care Educator is available to facilitate training and the competencies of the Children’s Critical Care Passport are used as a framework on which to build knowledge and skills. You will be provided with development opportunities to support you in the role.
