STAFF NURSE (BAND 5)

Are you an enthusiastic registered nurse, who relishes working in a diverse, challenging and exciting clinical area? Purbeck Ward currently has a unique opportunity to appoint a staff nurse to join their well established, friendly, professional and successful team.

Purbeck Ward provides an ideal environment for successful applicants to learn about the complex and rewarding nature of trauma nursing. We care for predominantly trauma Orthopaedics; however, we also cater at times for outliers of other surgical specialties.

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an ability to provide high quality, safe nursing care which is driven by patient experience and evidence-based best practice. Safe and timely discharge planning is an essential aspect of this role, which is paramount to promoting effective utilisation of the beds on the unit.

The successful applicants must be a qualified nurse with experience working within the acute hospital setting. Applicants must have the ability to work well as a part of the multidisciplinary team as well as individually and be able to adapt to frequently changing situations.

We are able to offer exciting opportunities and challenges for staff and provide necessary training to support further staff development.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
