We will recruit midwives with the drive and passion to expand and develop our Community Midwifery Services.

Here at Morecambe Bay we are investing in our Community Midwifery Services to enable a midwife to caseload ratio of 1:96 to allow us to further develop the experience for women We actively support and promote homebirth services. This investment will enable us to provide an innovative Community Service.

Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
We also use E-Rostering system which offers many benefits to our employees and allows a more accessible Off Duty and easier requests system, making annual leave requests, possible from the comfort of your own home.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
