Main duties of the job
Our Critical Care is expanding from 15 to 19 beds, so we need to grow our team. We care for a broad range of critically ill adults and children, within a multitude of specialities. We look after both level 2 High Dependency patients and level 3 Intensive Care patients (HDU/ICU). We offer a friendly and supportive working environment where education is seen as a
priority. We would like you to join our team to provide excellent, compassionate care to all our critically ill patients and their families. We have a wonderful multidisciplinary team (MDT) integrated within our unit encompassing research nurses, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, dieticians, and psychologists. Meaning we have a huge focus on rehabilitation after critical illness.
We have a dedicated Critical Care education team who will help you with every step of your journey. You will also receive an exceptional induction and orientation programme.
