We currently have a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse opportunity to work within our dynamic and supportive team. Caradon Adult Mental Health Team will provide you with a great opportunity to enhance and build new skills within a community setting. You will be working within adult mental health and will provide evidence-based interventions to a broad range of people who present with severe and / or enduring mental health needs.
You will be based at Trevillis House, Liskeard. We are aware that working in the community can be stressful especially if you are isolated, however there is always peer support, supervision and advice available to you.

The Caradon Adult Mental Health Community Team covers Torpoint, Millbrook, Saltash, Gunnislake, Callington, Liskeard, Looe, Fowey, Lostwithel, Par and the surrounding areas. We are looking for a motivated, positive individual who is a strong team player and is committed to high quality care.

There are great opportunities for training within the Trust and we are keen for all staff to enhance their knowledge and, if appropriate, specialise within an area within the team; enabling the team to grow in order to meet the increasing needs of the service and our clients.
You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of persons with mental health needs. You will undertake clinical supervision and individual appraisal, ensuring high levels of skills and competence.

Applications are invited from Registered Mental Health Nurses with the ability to work autonomously, whilst being a member of a team committed to excellence in patient care. If you have excellent communication skills, are passionate about caring for people and would enjoy the challenge of caring for people at home, then we want to hear from you now.
