Cardiff and Vale UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Nurse within the Research Delivery Workforce in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (C&V UHB)

The successful candidate will be responsible for
• Providing information to patients, service users and carers, considering entry in to specific research studies.
• Assisting with the co-ordination of a portfolio of clinical trials and
research studies across various disease sites . Provide administrative and data management support for all aspects of trial organisation as an integrated member of the research network team.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with local regional and national organisations regarding administration of research as required.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated nurse with excellent computer skills, communication skills, ability to multi-task, ability to prioritise workload, use own initiative and have excellent attention to detail and flexible to the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
