Cardiff and Vale UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.


 

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, with a flexible approach, reliable and motivated individual to take up the post at Band 6 as Deputy Ward Manager A5 ENT / Head & Neck. Evidence of developing clinical leadership and management experience would be expected.

The role will include supporting the ward manager in rostering, financial management, staff management, and clinical leadership of the unit. The candidate should have excellent communication and time management skills.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post
