Cardiff and Vale UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.
Are you an experienced motivated nurse with extensive cardiology skills looking for a challenge?
An excellent opportunity has become available to join the Nurse Practitioner team within cardiology at UHW. You will assist the medical/nursing team in providing a seamless quality pathway for Cardiology patients on the wards/CCU within the Cardiothoracic Directorate from admission to discharge. You will assist in the co-ordination of all patient services ensuring that such services are patient focused.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and will work well independently as well as within a team. The ability to cope in an acute cardiology environment with demanding situations is important, although support will be given. We are searching for nurses who share our values that:
