Cardiff and Vale UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.


Within the R&D research delivery workforce there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced breast care research nurse team leader to coordinate and conduct breast cancer research within the Health Board.

Health and Care Research Wales Workforce is part of the research infrastructure for Wales funded by Welsh Government.
Health and Care Research Wales was established in 2015 (formerly NISHCR CRC) and provides a number of important all Wales functions including an expert research workforce to support and develop research activity within health and social care.
The vision is for Wales to be internationally recognised for its excellent health and social care research that has a positive impact on the health, wellbeing and prosperity of the people in Wales.
The Research Delivery Workforce facilitates this through the provision of a financially sustainable, skilled, integrated and responsive workforce to deliver a high quality health and social care research delivery service for our staff, researchers.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
