Spire Thames Valley Hospital is a 50 bedded independant Hospital, near Stoke Poges in Buckinghamshire. We offer a range of Independant healthcare services to medical and clinical patients. The Hospital is linked to the Spire Windsor Clinic, an outpatient facility in Windsor.
Main responsibilities: We are looking for an experienced perioperative practitioner with Registered Nurse or ODP qualification with scrub, anaesthetic and recovery skills to work with our current theatre team in providing exemplary planned care for patients within the Perioperative Department. The Hospital has 2 main theatres and an endocopy theatre covering a range of specialities including general, laparoscopic, urology, othopeadics and plastics.
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week on a shift basis, will include evening and weekend working. On -call will be required. Scope for part-time roles considered.

Salary: Competative salary depending on experience and skills. Additional enhancements payable for overtime and unsocial hours worked ( evenings and weekends)

Qualifications & Training:
Registered Nurse or Operating Department practitioner with NMC/HPC registration.
Perioperative Theatre/scrub/ Anaesthetic mentorship course desirable.
ALS qualification desirable.
Experience: Used to working in teams with minimal supervision within a range of theatre specialities.
Knowledge and Technical Ability: Competence across a wide range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge aquired through state registration qualifications and additional training. Desirable to have knowledge, exeprience in scrub for orthopaedics. Mandatory training will be required.
Skills & Behaviours: Passion for customers, planning and organisational skills, working collaboratively within the department and willing to participate in flexible working pattern.
